Innovating Supply Chain Strategies: A Study of Strategic Flaws and Technological Lag in Supply Chain Management
Supply chain management has emerged as a critical function in businesses worldwide, especially with the increasing complexity of globalized markets. Behemoth companies like Walmart and others have created senior-level supply chain roles, underlining its strategic importance. Furthermore, the demand for supply chain professionals is projected to grow by 19% between 2023 and 2033, faster than the average for all professions. However, despite these advancements, supply chain methodologies remain inadequate, leading to persistent challenges like demand-supply misalignment and inefficiencies in management. This research paper investigates two core hypotheses behind the persistent inefficacies in supply chain strategies: the inadequacy of current cost-minimization approaches and outdated supply chain technologies. The research will also propose an improved strategy leveraging real-time data, enhanced supply volume prediction, and technological advancements such as AI to build a more adaptive and resilient supply chain model.
IMPLEMENTATION OF BLOCKCHAIN FOR FAIR POLLING SYSTEM
This paper introduces an idea proposed for the voting system that is completely transparent and tamper-proof. The conventional way of an election in the country presently deals with the problem of vote tampering which raises concerns for every citizen. The time spent on administrative paperwork can be reduced to almost negligible. With the help of Blockchain, Machine Learning, and the Internet of Things polling can be made fairer by using a decentralized network. Moreover, the voter has the power to verify their casted vote for authenticity. The paper presents the requirements for building software-based voting systems that enhance security and reduce the cost of conducting a nationwide election.
AUTONOMOUS DEFENCE VEHICLE FOR PRECISE TARGETING AND MISSION ACCOMPLISHMENT
This paper presents an idea proposed for an Autonomous Defence Vehicle which helps in targeting a stationary or moving enemy object precisely to its real-time location. Tasks like providing supplies and rescuing people to and from places under harsh conditions can be achieved autonomously. Technologies namely Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Telematics, Big Data and Image Processing, Missile Guidance System, System Engineering, Internet of Things and Renewable Fuel make it possible to build the vehicle. Use of electricity as renewable fuel provides greater run-time efficiency and no emissions. The paper briefs on the technologies, complexities and the approach towards engineering such a vehicle. An autonomous defense vehicle would be the future of defence technologies. It empowers the border patrolling and accomplishment of tasks risking human life.
